Beginning of the end
Hello People,
Just wanted to share my story and hear your opinions and suggestions.
I live in Rotterdam, Netherlands. My girlfriend lives quite a bit away. This hasn't been a problem for the past year. We've had a super time together! But in august she will graduate from high school and go to university. Now, there are 2 options. Either she moves in with me and goes to the university of Delft. Or she moves to Germany and goes to the university of Berlin.
Since she is German herself i guess we can all understand she loves to go back to Germany. However this would mean our relation would, Rotterdam and Berlin are very far apart.
I wouldn't hesitate a moment to go with her but i still have 1,5 years of study left here in Rotterdam so that isn't an option either.
Knowing all this it makes the time we have left harder to value and go through. When we have fights you are tempted to end it since it will end anyway...

Your chances of making this work are not good. Just get it over with and break up now. You'll enjoy university better that way.
